Martin’s life was much less interesting than the crime fiction he regularly read, until he decided to write his own mystery, working on the story during his daily commute and writing in a blue spiral notebook. Then an attractive, green-eyed woman struck up a conversation, and Martin’s story took a very sharp turn.
